For a couple versions now, Vegas has been randomly hiding the keyframe timeline. Seems like it would be simple enough for Sony to fix, but they haven't yet.

Anyhow, to get it back, hover your cursor near the bottom of the media generator window until it becomes two horizontal lines with arrows pointing up and down (not to be confused with a window resizer which is a double-headed arrow). When it does this, click and drag up to reveal the keyframe timeline.

I'm using Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0 (entry level).

How come I don't see the keyframe timeline in the Video Media Generator Window?

Is this available in the ProVersion? or do I need to turn on an option?

I tried using the Slide Transition effect, but it only generated half my text. Note: my text is too long to fit the width of the screen.
