Render to New Track
April 6th, 2009 by Rob Strobbe | Filed under Quick Tip.When you have a particularly complicated project, but there are tracks you are either done with or aren’t working on for a while, you can speed things up by going to Tools > Render to New Track (or hitting Ctrl+M). This renders the project to file and inserts the result on a new track above everything else. (Hint: Mute any tracks you don’t want to be part of that file.) Then you can either delete the source tracks or leave them be until you need to edit them more.
